The highest golf course in Europe is slated to open next summer ‘08

Grandvalira Golf Soldeu will hold 9 holes – 34 par, and a total length of 2590 metres (16 hectares). The course will include one par 5’s of 500 metres, five par 4’s and three par 3’s.

The architect, Jeremy Pern, has emphasized the importance of smoothly embedding the course in its natural environment, taking whole advantage of its topography and natural elements so to not impact the area.

An exceptional meeting point Grandvalira Golf Soldeu will offer all the facilities devoted to the practice and learning of the sport. On the one hand, the centre will host a school with an experienced team offering from beginner to advanced lessons. It will also offer an equipment rental service and a driving range, a practice area where newcomers will be able to start learning the secrets of the game.

During the summer season, Grandvalira Golf Soldeu will host renown golf competitions and tournaments.
